I completely intended to document this pregnancy here on my blog, but have only found the energy and time to share on my Instagram. Being in the final stretch though, I thought I would share how it's been going these final weeks while baby girl is still in my womb.
I love being pregnant. I love being a co-creator of life and having the opportunity to grow and bring babies into this world. I love seeing my belly button through my shirt. I love loving a tiny being so much it hurts. There is nothing in the world like it and I give thanks daily that I get to experience it. Coming up on 37 weeks in a couple of days, I am over-all feeling great. I always say I can't complain because... really I can't. I have the usual achy (very achy) hip pain while I sleep and am exhausted beyond understanding, but those are such small things in my eyes. My baby is healthy and growing and that is most important. The past 6 weeks or more have been difficult as far as tending to and being there for Wesley in the ways I used to be, making for one emotional mama. I feel like I am a lot bigger this time, making it very hard to keep up with him and it makes me feel really guilty. At this point I want to just lay in bed most days, but I can't, so we sort of just keep on keepin' on. But aside from all that, the excitement I feel is so overwhelming. I can't wait to see what she looks like. I can't wait to watch Wesley fall in love with her. I can't wait to witness my husband holding his little girl for the first time. I can't wait to hold her in my arms and kiss and smell her. I just can't wait.
Also, as you can imagine, finding things to wear is very limited, so I am extremely grateful to Pink Blush Maternity for sending me a few items to wear and feel beautiful in. This shirt is one I love for it's comfy, soft material and length. I try not to wear it every single day. You can find all of their amazing pieces here.
